Your symptoms are real.
Your care should be too.

You followed the plan, showed up to every appointment, and still don't feel like yourself. That experience is not a reflection of your effort or your body’s ability to heal. Pelvic floor PT in Columbus, Ohio looks different here. We provide care that starts with your whole story and goes to the root of what's actually been going on.

Where pelvic floor PT meets whole-body care

Unbound Pelvis offers pelvic, perinatal, and orthopedic physical therapy across four areas of focus. Every service is informed by the same nervous-system-safe, root-cause framework, because no symptom exists in isolation.

Your first visits, explained:

Your first appointment is a 80-minute evaluation; a full intake covering your history, symptoms, nervous system, and goals. From there, follow-up sessions (70 min in length) are built around what your body actually needs at each visit. All sessions are held in-person at 271 S. Liberty Street in Powell, Ohio or virtual in the state of Ohio

Pelvic Floor Conditions

When Your Pelvic Floor Symptoms Have Outlasted Every Other Answer

Pelvic floor symptoms such as pain, tension, weakness, leaking, prolapse, or sexual dysfunction are common, but common is not the same as normal, and they are not something you have to manage forever. Care here explores how your pelvic symptoms connect to your movement, your nervous system state, and your life history rather than treating the pelvic floor in isolation. If you’ve already tried conventional pelvic PT without lasting results, this work is designed for exactly that.

Orthopedic Conditions

Persistent Pain That Standard Rehab Hasn’t Resolved

Persistent back, hip, SI joint, neck, and extremity pain often share a root that standard rehabilitation doesn’t reach. Treatment at Unbound Pelvis addresses movement patterns, strength, coordination, and nervous system regulation together, because lasting resolution requires looking at the whole picture. This is particularly useful for people whose pain keeps returning, or who have been told nothing is structurally wrong but still don’t feel right.

Perinatal Care

Support Through Every Season of the Birthing Years

Whether you are preparing for conception, navigating pregnancy, or recovering after birth, your body deserves care that is paced, collaborative, and responsive to this season. Sessions support the physical and nervous system changes of the perinatal period without rushing, minimizing, or handing you a generic postpartum protocol. This includes birth preparation, cesarean recovery, complex postpartum symptoms, and support for those who were cleared but still don’t feel healed.

Midlife and Menopause

Care That Doesn’t Just Normalize What Your Body Is Telling You

Hormonal and life transitions bring real changes to pelvic health, joint function, sexual function, and strength, and those changes deserve real clinical attention. Care at Unbound Pelvis supports midlife bodies without dismissing symptoms as inevitable or offering nothing beyond basic advice to push through. If you are navigating perimenopause or menopause and looking for care that meets the complexity of what you’re experiencing, you’re in the right place.

Why patients who have tried everything else find their way here

Trauma-Informed Care

Physical therapy grounded in safety, consent, and nervous system awareness. Sessions are paced and collaborative, adapting in real time to how the body responds.

Root-Cause, Not Performance-Based

Care here is never about pushing through or fixing a body assumed to be broken. It is about understanding why symptoms developed and supporting lasting resolution from the inside out.

Neurodivergent-Affirming

We welcome and support neurodivergent patients. Sessions are slower, relational, and built around how you actually process information and sensation.

Gender-Inclusive Care

Physical therapy for humans of all genders. Care avoids assumptions, honors your language and identity, and focuses on function, comfort, and your lived experience.

How Dr. Amanda Approaches Care

Every session at Unbound Pelvis begins with context — your history, your nervous system, and everything your body has been carrying. The UNBOUND Method guides that process from first intake to lasting resolution, treating symptoms as communication rather than malfunction, and moving at a pace your body actually leads.
